Nuffnang’s Blue Stickman Is Turning 5!

Sunday, February 19, 2012

It was like only yesterday when Tim and Ming were carrying little baby Nuffnang in their arms and singing lullabies to the little blue dude and in a blink of an eye, lil’ Nuffnang is turning 5! Aww, I’m tearing a little right now, knowing how time flies and how I suck at making personification remarks.

Now that Nuffnang has turned 5, it calls for a celebration, a grand one. This is like turning 21 in the advertising industry (never been in this industry, just making an analogy, do not correct me if I’m wrong. I’ll bite, I swear). And when it comes to party, how could leave me out of the picture? I’m like the Barney Stinson of party organising, going all out to make sure the bro gets one heck of a party.

So dear little blue Nuffnang stickman, be prepared to have the greatest birthday celebration no other blue stickman has ever experienced. There will be rock bands, rockets and even The Rock will come back from retirement and be there for the party!

Okay, I lied.

I may have overrated myself by a little. I may be a little uncreative when it comes to organising an awesome-possum party. And I may have a shorter pinky than ordinary people. Wait, what are we talking about again?

Right, party for the stickman.

Although I do not have the capability of becoming a really top-class party planner, I am however, capable of coming up with a small little celebration for our blue mascot. Small, but a truly meaningful one. Are you ready?

I will take the stickman to his; wait for it, biological family. And who are his biological family you were asking? Well, they are…

family
The Smurfs.

You see, they are the only reasonable group of people who shares the same skin tone as our stickman over at Nuffnang. They are the only community that is blue in colour. What are the possible reasons to deny or even prove the nonexistence of their relationship?

Papa
Now that our stickman has reunited with his long lost blue family, they can go on to do family stuffs in their village.

Like loading a .44 Magnum into Papa Smurf’s head for abandoning his son in the city of Kuala Lumpur for the last 5 years.

poppasmurf
Kidding.

In all seriousness, they have so much catching up to do after 5 years. I’m pretty sure it’ll be one heck of a birthday celebration for our stickman. And maybe he’ll even get a present in this very memorable reunion! And they’ll probably live happily ever after in their little village as one big happy family.

Jokey Smurf
Then Nuffnang would have to come up with a whole new logo. And I would be the one who’ll get all the blaming. Dammit.

Nuffnang will be celebrating their 5th solid year in the blogosphere and they’ll be throwing a really awesome party on 26 February 2012. Check out this page if you would like to be a part it!
